The Congressional Budget Office estimates the Medicaid cuts could leave nearly 12 million Americans uninsured.

On July 3 the House of Representatives will vote on the Trump administration’s new budget bill, which incorporates massive cuts to Medicaid, the state-federal health insurance program that serves more than 70 million low-income people.

The White House celebrations for the Fourth of July included several flyovers, including one featuring B-2 bombers. The president said Thursday that the flyover will occur at the same time he signs the bill; however, it ultimately took place before the signing.

The legislation extends Trump’s 2017 multitrillion-dollar tax cuts and cuts Medicaid and food stamps by $1.2 trillion. It also provides for a massive increase in immigration enforcement.
