Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday, accusing it of pushing the national capital into a decade-long crisis.

Taking a swipe at former Delhi chief minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, Modi said he could also have built a "sheesh mahal" for himself but his dream was to ensure homes for everyone in the country.

The BJP accused AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal of fostering fake voter registrations and alleged AAP MP Sanjay Singh has dual voter registrations in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva called for legal action and also claimed discrepancies with other AAP members' voter registrations.
