Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart issued an apology to his teammates, coaches and fans following the loss to Florida on Saturday.

Ole Miss forced a quick 3-and-out and got the ball back for the offense, but it was for not. Dart was picked off by Florida’s Dijon Johnson with 24 seconds on the clock. Officials eventually overturned the call, ruling that Johnson did not maintain possession through the ground.

Ole Miss had a chance to tie the game with under two minutes left but quarterback Jaxson Dart made an awful decision throwing into triple coverage. The 39-yard pass attempt was picked off in the end zone by Bryce Thornton with 1:32 remaining in regulation.
