National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists have issued winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories for 13 states as of Thursday morning as winter storms unleash impacts across the Northern Plains, Midwest, and Northeast.

On Monday at 1:27 a.m. the NWS Seattle WA issued a winter storm watch valid from Tuesday 10 p.m. until Wednesday 10 p.m. The watch is for Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit counties, Cascades of Snohomish and Northern King counties,
