Washington — The House convened Wednesday to take up President Trump's Senate-passed massive domestic policy bill, to approve changes to the legislation ahead of a July 4 deadline to get the bill to the president's desk for his signature.

The debate within President Donald Trump's Republican Party over a massive tax-cut and spending bill returns to the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

The White House has said workers benefiting from the deduction could see up to $2,000 in annual federal tax savings.
