Same issue,R2 is select and everything is mixed. Tested this, download apex legends in both the EA app and steam and it works just fine in steam. The EA app does not support controller unfortunately. I have even turned off all overlays . 2023 and its still not sorted

This is proof enough. according to EA own writen statment of a game. ( so all the rest IS BS. with email adr. and password. my advice talk with a EA advisor and escalating the case. and i bet you have many box games with serial numbers. ( try talk nicely with them in a professonal way, no ranting even they do have some explanations with this.

I logged in to my main account through the EA client and didn't have any issue. I uninstalled both instances of Apex and used Revo to clean up any files lingering. Issue continued with the Steam client but not EA. Uninstalled Steam (all games) Uninstalled EA (all games) Used Revo to clean up any files lingering. Reinstalled Steam and Apex only.
