Nov 18, 2015 · Wife 3. Ilse Luthje, the "Countess" Fincke von Finckenstein, born 1919 Kiel, died c.2001. Met Skorzeny in 1949 (Bavaria); married him in Madrid, c. March 1954. Substantiation/Critique of above welcomed. Anyone in possession of Skorzeny's full SS file may be able to help, since the wives were surely vetted. I don't have it.

Finckenstein underwent a few military actions and was nominated the reserve officer. In spite of the arising doubts concerning the Hitler’s politics and plans, Finckenstein meant to do his soldier’s duty in case of a war.
