One of my favorite ways to look at the healing journey is to look at it as a spiral. We might continue to circle and be impacted by past wounds and trauma. However, each time around we learn more about it and ourselves. We gain more distance from it. We learn skills to move through it and reduce the rate in which we sit in it. Many times we are undoing YEARS of trauma. Give yourself some grace as you relearn new ways to move through it. We aren’t regressing because we are getting upset. As long
