HOO saved the owl on the side of the road? 🦉 THP found a stranded Great Horned Owl on the shoulder of Interstate 81 who was unable to fly. The rescue began when troopers noticed the owl during a response to a bicyclist near mile marker 60. Authorities contacted the wildlife authorities and a local rehabilitator.
