Jane Marshall was a 26-year-old homemaker and alto in the choir at Highland Park United Methodist Church when she composed her first anthem, “My Eternal King.” Utilizing the text of a 17th-century Latin poem, translated by Rev. Edward Caswall, this anthem expresses our love for Jesus as a reflection of His undying love for us.
