The RIDGID Power Tools R8604 Compact Band Saw has a 2-1/2" deep and 2-1/2" wide cut capacity and is powered by their 18-volt battery. We tested the Ridgid on several different different projects, and we're pretty impressed. This saw is light and easy to handle with one hand. Also, the power from the 18-volt system is more than enough to tackle the capacities of this machine.
