Quick update from me on two steps I’ve taken today to help our teachers. From September, newly qualified teachers will be able to gain a permanent contract after one year, as opposed to two. I’m also taking steps to make it easier for teachers who qualified outside of Ireland to work here. These are two measures I’ve introduced but I am committed to doing more for our teachers.
