Over 2600 years old, this vessel is attributed to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty of Ancient China. Made of bronze, it features an inscription on the interior base. According to a translation of the inscription provided by the MET, it says "zhu wang xiang shen zhi yu" (the yu of Xiong Shen, King of Zhu).
