The stunt was the vision of Canadian daredevil Ken Carter, who aimed to launch a rocket powered Lincoln Continental nearly one mile across the river. After years of planning, twin hydrogen peroxide rockets and an 85 foot ramp were built, but concerns over Carter backing out led Powers to tak
