The state's flagship medical school at Augusta University is now among the five largest in the country, as the Medical College of Georgia has opened its new four-year campus in Savannah. It welcomes 41 first-year medical students who will complete their entire four-year journey at the new location on Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus. Medical students like Lizzie Dittmer are already feeling the positive impact of our increased class size. Dittmer shares: "Being from Georgia and want
