Quenching Veer’s thirst was another challenge during the journey. What stood out was the exceptional nature of the gentle giant himself. Elephants are known to be highly intelligent animals. Witnessing such shining moments make our hearts swell up to pachyderm sizes (with joy). The patience Veer shows in the video while the local man pumps water for him to drink is nothing less than admirable. This is nothing short of proof that animals can be compassionate and kind when treated with respect. |

Spooky season has crept up on us, and our rescued elephants are joining in for the festivities! Creating Jack-o-Lanterns and presenting them to our pachyderms was a sight for sore eyes.
